By submitting a custom design request to TapeTags, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Ownership of Submitted Designs

 

By submitting a logo, image, sketch, artwork, or design to TapeTags, you represent and warrant that: You are the owner of the design; or You have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses to use the design; or You have authorization from the copyright or trademark owner to reproduce the design. TapeTags does not assume responsibility for verifying ownership of submitted artwork. Responsibility for obtaining all necessary permissions rests solely with the customer.

 

2. Copyrighted & Trademarked Material

 

TapeTags respects intellectual property rights. We will not knowingly reproduce, manufacture, or sell products containing copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected artwork without proper authorization. Examples include (but are not limited to):

Professional sports team logos, College and university logos, High school logos (unless authorized), Company logos, Brand logos, Character artwork, Protected graphics, Registered trademarks. If we determine that submitted artwork may infringe upon another person's or organization's intellectual property rights, we reserve the right to decline the request. Submitting a design that violates copyright or trademark laws may result in: Cancellation of your request, Refusal of service, Refunds being withheld for completed design work where permitted by law, Reporting of fraudulent claims if necessary, Legal responsibility remaining solely with the customer. TapeTags shall not be held liable for any intellectual property infringement resulting from customer-submitted artwork.

 

3. How to Verify Ownership of a Logo

 

Before submitting artwork, customers are encouraged to verify that they have permission to use it. You may do this by: Confirming you personally created the artwork. Obtaining written permission from the owner. Confirming your organization owns the logo. Checking the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Trademark Database. Checking the U.S. Copyright Office if applicable. Contacting the organization that owns the logo. If you are unsure whether you have permission, please do not submit the artwork until permission has been obtained.

 

4. Schools, Teams, and Organizations

 

If you are submitting artwork on behalf of a: School, Athletic program, Sports team, Booster club, Business, Nonprofit organization. Please indicate this in your initial message. We are happy to work directly with schools and organizations to verify authorization and discuss custom production options.
 

5. Ownership of Logos, Artwork, and Designs

 

Customer-owned logos, trademarks, and artwork remain the property of their respective owners. TapeTags will not reproduce, sell, or distribute customer-owned logos or artwork to third parties without the permission of the customer or the applicable intellectual property owner. By submitting a custom design, the customer grants TapeTags permission to manufacture the requested products using the submitted artwork. TapeTags may also display photographs or images of completed products for portfolio, marketing, advertising, social media, and other promotional purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in writing prior to production.

Any custom design submitted by a customer will not be added to TapeTags' standard product lineup or offered for general sale without the customer's prior written permission. If TapeTags wishes to include a customer-created design in its permanent collection or product portfolio, TapeTags will first obtain the customer's express consent.

Original designs, concepts, graphics, and artwork created independently by TapeTags remain the exclusive intellectual property of TapeTags unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

6. Appropriate Content

 

TapeTags reserves the right to refuse any design containing content we consider inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to:

Hate speech, Racist content, Sexually explicit material, Nudity, Offensive language, Illegal activity, Harassment, Violent or graphic, imagery, Discriminatory content, Material promoting drugs or criminal activity. TapeTags reserves the sole discretion to determine whether submitted artwork is appropriate.

7. Design Approval

 

Submitting artwork does not guarantee production. Every submission is reviewed individually. TapeTags reserves the right to decline any submission for any reason, including but not limited to: Copyright concerns, Trademark concerns, Production limitations, Artwork quality, Design complexity, Material compatibility, Safety concerns

 

8. Production Limitations

 

Not every design can currently be manufactured. Some artwork contains: Extremely fine details, Small lettering, Complex gradients, Intricate patterns, Excessive colors, Design elements beyond our current manufacturing capabilities. As our production methods continue to improve, certain designs that were previously not possible may become available in the future. If a submitted design cannot currently be produced, we will notify you and, when possible, suggest modifications that achieve a similar appearance. We continually improve our manufacturing processes and may contact customers if future production methods make previously declined designs possible.
 

9. Design Modifications

 

TapeTags may recommend modifications to improve: Durability, Readability, Appearance, Manufacturing quality. Minor changes may be necessary to successfully produce certain designs. Whenever possible, proposed changes will be discussed with the customer before production begins.

 

10. Quotes

 

Custom design quotes are provided free of charge. Receiving a quote does not obligate either party to complete an order. Prices may vary depending on: Design complexity, Quantity ordered, Production time, Material usage, Customization requested

 

11. Customer Approval

 

Production will not begin until: The customer approves the final design (if applicable), Payment has been received (if required). Once production begins, changes may no longer be possible.

 

12. Color Matching

 

While every effort is made to accurately reproduce colors, exact color matches cannot be guaranteed due to: Material differences, Printing limitations, Screen calibration, Manufacturing tolerances. Minor color variations are considered acceptable.

 

13. Handmade & Manufacturing Variations

 

Because TapeTags products are custom manufactured, slight variations may occur between products. Minor differences in: Color, Alignment, Placement, Texture, Finish are considered normal and do not constitute defects.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

 

TapeTags shall not be liable for: Copyright disputes arising from customer-submitted artwork, Trademark infringement resulting from customer submissions, Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, Delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or unforeseen events. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable order.

 

15. Right to Refuse Service

 

TapeTags reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion. Reasons may include, but are not limited to: Intellectual property concern, Inappropriate content, Inability to manufacture the design, Fraudulent activity, Violation of these Terms & Conditions

16. Returns & Refunds

 

Due to the custom nature of TapeTags products, all sales are final. Each TapeTag is made specifically for the customer and cannot be resold once produced. As a result, TapeTags does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations after production has begun. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all design details before placing an order. If your order arrives damaged or if there is an error caused by TapeTags, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

 

17. Changes to These Terms

 

TapeTags reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version posted on our website at the time of submission shall govern your request.

You own the submitted artwork or have permission to use it.

Your design does not knowingly infringe upon any copyright or trademark rights.

Your design complies with our content guidelines.

You understand that not every design can be manufactured.

You understand that production limitations may require modifications or prevent production altogether.

You accept these Terms & Conditions in full.
