Griffin, the founder of TapeTags, is a collegiate football player who first had the idea when he was fourteen years old. He made his first ones by hand and proudly wore them during his hockey games, his stick became an extension of his creativity and personality. Seeing his teammates want their own showed the joy of what self-expression means in sports where everyone’s gear looks the same.

Griffin wants to give other players that same sense of identity and pride, while proving to himself that he can turn a childhood idea into something meaningful.
